• Welding Trays, Tray Accessories, Bars, Rails or brackets as required
• Ensuring the contribution of quality work and communication resulting in the optimum function of the production line, whether it be welding Rails, Brackets, Bullbars, Tray & Components.
• Weld and tac metal parts together using MIG welding or brazing
• Perform related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding
• Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes and increase size of metal parts
• Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding
• Manufacture components as required

Skills:

To be successful in this role, it is important that you demonstrate to us the following skills, knowledge and/or abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to complete basic forms and paperwork
• Proven ability in MIG welding
• Ability in plasma cutting and use of related equipment (desirable)

Experience, licence/s & Qualifications:

Essential:

• Experience in welding or related field
  

Highly Desirable:

• Trade qualified or relevant experience in welding/boiler making or other relevant field
• Current, Valid “C” Class drivers licence
• Forklift licence
